Welcome to the Black Child
Development Institute - Detroit Affiliate. The Detroit
affiliate focuses its efforts on increasing health awareness
in the community and enhancing the education of elementary
school children. Annually, the affiliate collaborates
with local health, social and service organizations to
host a variety of forums, seminars and informational sessions
relating to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, prenatal care,
general child and family health, and cognitive development
in young children. If you would like more information
